ALICE ITS3: A truly cylindrical vertex detector based on bent, wafer-scale stitched CMOS sensors / Liu, Jian (Liverpool U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The new inner tracking system (ITS2) of the ALICE experiment at the LHC, upgraded during the LHC Long Shutdown 2 (2019–2021) with CMOS monolithic active pixel sensors (ALPIDE), is currently taking data and demonstrating excellent performance in the LHC Run 3. A replacement of the three innermost layers of the ITS2, called ITS3, is foreseen during the LHC Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2028) to further improve its tracking precision and efficiency, particularly at very low transverse momentum down to pT = 0.1 GeV/c. Muon Forward Tracker in ALICE at the LHC / Krupova, Diana (Prague, Tech. U.) /ALICE Collaboration
ALICE is an experiment designed to study heavy-ion collisions at the LHC at CERN. The Muon Forward Tracker (MFT) is one of the major ALICE upgrades installed during the Long Shutdown 2 (2018–2022) to cope with the maximum interaction rate of 50 kHz for Pb–Pb collisions in Runs 3 (2022–2025) and 4 (2029–2032). The future of bent MAPS, full-wafer (stitched) design: Status and challenges / Mager, Magnus (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
CMOS Monolithic Active Pixel sensors (MAPS) have been undergoing significant advances over the last decade in terms of integration densities, radiation hardness and speed. They became the technology of choice for precise vertex detectors at high energy physics experiments with moderate radiation loads, notably STAR at RHIC, ALICE at LHC, and are being considered for future FCC-ee detectors. [...]

Results of the new MAPS-based ALICE inner tracker operations in the LHC Run 3 / Ravasenga, Ivan (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
The new ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS2), installed in ALICE in May 2021 during a major upgrade campaign, significantly enhances the resolution on the determination of the distance of closest approach to the primary vertex, the tracking efficiency at low transverse momenta, and the read-out rate capabilities with respect to the previous tracker. It is equipped with silicon Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS) with a pixel size of 27 × 29 μm2, a spatial resolution of 5μm and it features a material budget of 0.36 % X0 (inner layers). [...]

Status of the Fast Interaction Trigger detector of ALICE / Rojas Torres, Solangel (CTU, Prague) /ALICE Collaboration
The Fast Interaction Trigger (FIT) is one of the detectors installed in the ALICE experiment during the second Long Shutdown (LS2) of the LHC to cope with the new collision rates of 50 kHz for Pb-Pb and up to 1 MHz for pp collisions. FIT comprised of the FT0, FV0, and FDD sub-detectors that use Cherenkov and scintillator technologies. [...]

Electromagnetic radiation in pp and Pb--Pb collisions with dielectrons in ALICE / MuraKami, Hikari (Tokyo U., CNS, Saitama) /ALICE Collaboration
The latest ALICE results on low $𝑝_{{\rm T}}$ direct photon measurements via the virtual photon method are presented. Direct photons are measured in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s}_{{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV, and in minimum-bias (MB) and high-multiplicity pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with LHC Run 2 data. [...]

ALICE ITS3: the first truly cylindrical inner tracker / Kotliarov, Artem (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst. ; CTU, Prague) /ALICE Collaboration
During the next LHC Long Shutdown 3 in 2026--2028, the ALICE Collaboration plans to replace the three innermost layers of the current Inner Tracking System (ITS) with truly cylindrical layers, made of wafer-scale, thin ($< 50~\upmu$m), and bent Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS) that will be produced with the 65 nm CMOS imaging process. To fabricate the wafer-scale sensors, a technology, called stitching, is utilized to ``stitch'' small reticles and build sensors up to 300 mm in length in a single wafer. [...]

Measurements of HF-tagged jet substructure and energy-energy correlators with ALICE / Mazzilli, Marianna (Houston U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Properties of partonic fragmentation in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) depend on parton flavours in $1\rightarrow2$ splitting processes in parton showers due to the different Casimir factors of quarks and gluons, and to the different masses of light- and heavy-flavour quarks. Heavy-flavour jets provide a unique experimental tool to probe these flavour dependencies. [...]
